Mission
DAP promotes safe and healthy family relationships by stopping domestic violence as it occurs and working to prevent it in the future. To achieve this mission, we provide counseling, education and advocacy to families affected by domestic abuse to give them the tools to transform their lives. On a larger scale, we work to strengthen our community’s response to violence by educating and influencing public policy makers and community members. DAP is unique in combining these services and is the only program if its kind.
